W prowadzonych badaniach naukowych wykorzystuje zjawisko anihilacji pozytonów do badania struktury fazy skondensowanej z zastosowaniem:

  • metody korelacji kątowej kierunków kwantów pochodzących z anihilacji par e+ e- (anihilacyjna spektroskopia korelacyjna)
  • metody pomiarów widm czasów życia anihilujących pozytonów (anihilacyjna spektroskopia czasowa)

Tematy prowadzonych prac:

  • wyznaczanie struktury elektronowej metali ich stopów
  • badanie mechanizmu anihilacji pozytonów w materiałach o różnym stopniu zdefektowania
  • określanie struktury i własności szkieł przeznaczonych do produkcji światłowodów
  • badanie przejść fazowych w mieszaninach ciekłokrystalicznych
  • określanie struktury quasi-krystalicznej mieszanin substancji organicznych i wodno-organicznych
